EP1 - Charoen Krung Street Photography POV

The Street

This week I walk through the art district of Bangkok which is situated on part of the Charoen Krung Road. So called the art district because of the abundance of art galleries and museum along. Prominent among these is the River City which has turn itself around from an antique mall into a fun gallery and artist residency

The Charoen Krung Road connects the Bang Rak district through to Chinatown and the old town of Rattanakosin island. According to sources, it is among the first roads in Bangkok to be constructed using modern method… whatever that means.

The Photography

Instead of taking the main road, we will be walking through the backroads and alleys of the area instead. We will also be focusing on the riverbank side of the street where we can find a lot of the still preserved lifestyle of yesteryear. I will be focusing on documenting rather than creating multi-dimensional street photography as is popular in today’s photography scene. Enjoy!
